he Leelee Series™ is very close to my heart because Leelee is inspired by my daughter, Lee-Ann.

I created these stories to share the beautiful little moments that have shaped our journey—her giggles, her favorite activities, the way she communicates, the things that bring her joy, and the moments when the world can sometimes feel like a lot.

As her mom, I’ve learned that sometimes you have to slow down, look a little closer, and listen in a different way. A smile can say something. A gesture can say something. A laugh can say something. Even the way a child moves or responds can tell us more than we realize.

Through The Leelee Series™, I want children and families to discover those moments with us.

These books aren’t about defining Leelee by her differences. They’re about getting to know Leelee as a whole child—her personality, her joy, her friendships, her favorite things, her challenges, and all the little things that make her uniquely her.

My hope is that when a child reads a Leelee story, they see more than a character in a book. I hope they see a friend.

And I hope parents, teachers, and caregivers find opportunities to start conversations about kindness, patience, understanding, and inclusion.

I created Leelee’s world with one simple belief:
